This 3x5 file card has been signed by Andy Warhol in pencil. Andy has signed the card a number of times, his signature degenerating with each successive one. The signatures were obtained by Stephnie Kolowski, believed to be in 1966, at the Cafe Figaro in New York. Stephanie and her husband Stanley started collecting in-person signatures in the early 1950's. The card had been trimmed to about 3" x 4 1/4" and taped into a scrapbook for about forty years. There is residue on the reverse from the tape, see inset photo. A unique signed Warhol piece, practically a work of art in itself.
