I'm Jim Falkenstern, founder of Popculturesignatures, and I've been collecting signed memorabilia most of my life. My mother had worked at Warner Brothers Studios in Hollywood during the true Golden Age of movies, witnessing the creation of such classics as "Casablanca" and "Jezebel". She was a personal secretary to Harry Warner, and was in contact with many stars there on a regular basis. That began my early awareness and interest in celebrities. My particular passion in collecting is classic rock, the Beatles and John Lennon specifically. Through associations with individuals who were truly in the right places at the right times, I have accumulated a number of exceptional autographed pieces. I had always been a collector, and have just decided to sell some of my items in the last few years. I don't plan to look for new inventory, but to offer what I've collected. I hope to offer rare, unique and unusual signed collectibles to fellow collectors at competitive prices. I will always allow an item to be returned if it was to be found by some rare chance not to be genuine. Autograph authentication can be a very tangled issue. The only certain way to know is through it's provenance. An examination by an informed eye may uncover aspects that could call into question an item's legitimacy, but it could not uncover proof that it was irrecovably genuine. If anyone tells you that they can guarantee or certify the authenticity of an autograph from an examination alone, they're not being forthright. There is no way to be certain without the provenance. The best way to get an expert's opinion is to become your own expert. Learn as much as you can about the signing habits of your subject. Study other examples of their signature, and compare them. Learn to trust your own instincts and gut feelings about them. Seek others' opinions if you feel the need, but you still need to come to your own conclusions. Most of these items were obtained by a very few select collectors, so their provenance is known. Besides my own many years of experience as a collector, including a number of years running my own website, I also rely on Pete Connolly to co-authenticate my items. Shipping and Payment Information:

Shipping is $10.00 for orders within the US, sent priority mail. Items 5" x 7" or smaller are $5.00. Shipping outside the US is $15.00, sent regular airmail. A delivery confirmation or tracking # is used on all domestic shipments. I will email the buyer with the # after shipping. Orders usually sent within 2 to 3 days. If a quicker delivery method is needed, contact us and we will make arrangements. Insurance, which is optional, is $2.20 for the first $100, $1 for each additional $100.
