Ritchie Valens Autograph Signed "Donna" / "La Bamba" 45 Single Record ITEM SOLD

The single "Donna" backed with "La Bamba" signed on the "Donna" side by Ritchie Valens in ballpoint or biro pen. The signature was obtained by veteran collector Cicely Steinberg at the Little Theatre in New York. Valens was then performing on Dick Clark's "Saturday Night Beechnut Show". The song "Donna" was the A side of the single, "La Bamba" becoming the bigger hit later. This is the original Del-Fi single release, this being to the best of my knowledge the first pressing. The record has a number of scratches, and I imagine the record to be playable. Valens is rare in any form, particularly on his biggest hit record.
